Our Mission 

We believe that congregations of any size, small or large, can do great and mighty things for the kingdom of God. Therefore, we have adopted the following verse from Matthew 17 to represent our church body as we strive to be the people of faith God desires and calls us to be:

Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

​​As people of faith, Rush Chapel Methodist Church’s mission is based on the Apostle Paul’s words to the church in Philippi:  “I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.”  Philippians 3:10-11 ​
